Athletes are judged by a committee of black belts in four categories
Performance
Ability to execute techniques against resisting partners
Knowledge
Understanding of the techniques and concepts
Attendance
Consistent training (guideline: 300- 600 hours per belt)
Attitude
Supportive of teammates and positive presence on the mats
Promtoions are not an automatic process. Students are in control of their progress. Focus on gathering skills and the belt will follow.
Don’t chase the belts, or the belts will chase you.
We are also a business. If you would prefer to purchase your next belt, e-transfer Professor Christian $4,000. Please use the new belt proudly on social media and to impress your friends. Kindly avoid live training and limit Rocky Mountain apparel while wearing the new belt.
